Modoo Studio ("Developer") is committed to protecting the privacy of users of Modoo File Converter ("App") and complies with applicable privacy laws and Google Play Developer Program Policies. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, whether it is shared with third parties, and your rights as a user.

2. Information We Collect

2-1. Personal Information Directly Collected by the Developer: None

The App does not require registration, login, or any account. No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, etc.) is collected or stored on the Developer's servers.

2-2. File Data

Files selected by the user are processed entirely on-device. File contents are never transmitted to external servers, and the Developer has no access to your files.

Converted output files are saved to the Downloads/ModooFileConverter folder on your device. The App does not upload or collect these files.

2-3. Locally Stored Data (Device Only)

The following preferences are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted externally.

This data is deleted when the App is uninstalled.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party SDKs. Each third party may collect and process data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

3-1. Google AdMob (Advertising)

Banner and interstitial ads are displayed when ads have not been removed. AdMob may collect the following information for ad personalization.

When you purchase Ad Removal (in-app purchase), the AdMob SDK is disabled and ad-related data collection stops.

To opt out of personalized ads, go to your device settings and select Reset Advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.

3-2. Google Play Billing (In-App Purchase)

Purchasing "Remove Ads Permanently" uses the Google Play billing system. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled by Google; the Developer does not have access to them. The Developer only receives confirmation of purchase completion.

3-3. Firebase (App Update Check)

The App uses remote configuration to check for the latest version information. Any data collected by Firebase during this process is subject to the Firebase Privacy Policy.

4. App Permissions

File access permissions are used only when the user explicitly selects a file for conversion. The App does not browse files in the background.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child uses the App, it should be done under parental supervision.

6. Data Deletion

Since no personal data is collected on the Developer's servers, there is no server-side retention period. Locally stored data can be deleted by the following methods.

7. Security

All file processing is performed entirely on your device, eliminating security risks associated with network transmission. Locally stored data is protected by Android's app sandboxing policy.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, we will notify users in advance through the in-app notice section or the store listing page. The updated policy will take effect after the notice.
